This is poppy dancey IDM from Norway, their third LP, featuring vocals from Anneli Drecker, Robyn, Lykke Li, Karin Dreijer (of Fever Ray and The Knife). It comes out March 23. Supposedly it's the less mature of two 2009 releases.

Don't want to sound like an ingrate, and it's not my intention especially on a blog with generous and helpful contributors.
ReplyDeleteHowever, as a warning to anyone thinking they could pass this download off as a direct album rip elsewhere: this 192kbps CBR album leak is a lossy transcode (meaning it didn't come directly from a CD copy, but converted to MP3 a few times).

The quality is no problem for sampling purposes (and that's what it should be for). Enjoy. :)

ReplyDeleteGave the album a good listen, and must say it was GREAT! The retro synth-pop noises are utterly dreamy.
ReplyDeleteI'm not familiar with Röyksopp outside of their work on commercials and other "found" music sort of situations. Definitely going to look through their back catalog.
Makes me want to get out my Air collection too.
